Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass.
There is nothing eternal in this world, money, power, position, health, popularity, a career market values: these are all too unstable and fleeting. Holding on tightly to these things of this world, is like trying to hold a hand full of water; it runs right through our fingers.
Our bodies are also temporary vessels that wear out and die, but our spirit and soul lives on, and returns to our creator. It is hear that we receive our eternal reward, or eternal punishment.
For those that believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we are told in Romans 6:23 KJV “But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” For those that choose not to believe, they receive eternal punishment.
God’s Word remains steadfast throughout eternity, and because His love for us, we are told to love one another. To love one another, we are told in Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world, and preach to gospel to every creature.”
Heavenly Father, teach us to love with a love like yours!
