The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.
Sometimes in our lives we go through things that seem too heavy to bear. We ask for prayer, we call a friend for advice that we really do not want to hear, but feel we have to talk to someone.
This happened to me, after I received word that our only child had been murdered and thrown from a freight train. My mind became a whirlwind of what I should do. I knew we had to get his body home, let his only child know what happened, let our Pastor know, and call my husband who was out of town working. It seemed as though there was so much to do, that I became overwhelmed.
On the day of the funeral, I asked God why? He answered me in a still small voice that came from His Word.
Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
