For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to everyone who asks Jesus to come into his heart and abide with Him. But not everyone receives the same gift.
Many times in my life, I felt in the flesh that God had called me for different gifts, but I did not realize what the call of God was. So for those times I felt God call me, what I attempted to do for Him, never turned out like I felt that it should.
There always seemed to be a block placed in front of me that was difficult to overcome. A distraction, that took me away, and set me on another course.
I always felt at these times that I was failing my God; because I could not accomplice what I felt was a call from God.
It was not until I began to realize that a call from God began as a ministry that filled a need, and the call was the loyalty that one gave to continue that need. Not just do the ministry until I got tired of it, but to continue it until the end, and not be distracted by other demands.
