My sheep hear My voice and I know them.
This scripture is a reminder to be in God’s word daily, so that we are not easily deceived.
I had been a teacher of Construction Flagging, and driving Pilot cars for a little over 25 years, and each year we were required to attend a refresher course for Trainers.
One year taking the course, there were quite a lot attending, so as to become teachers themselves.
We arrived a little late, so the seating available was in the back of the room. I found a seat and began to listen as the instructor began to speak. I had a question on one point, so raising my right hand; the instructor who did not know me asked me why I was raising my hand. I questioned him on the use of a certain word, all of sudden a woman in front spoke up and said: “I know that voice, she gave me my certificate over 20 years ago.
We should be so in tune with the word of God that, when we hear that still small voice as written in 1 Kings 19:12 we can say “I know that voice.”
