This scripture has kept me guessing what was really meant by blood and water. Did the scripture mean both, but the word and was used. To me that meant there were two separate meanings here.
I began to do some cross referencing to find the truth, and finally found my answer.
There were two components’ here, that I knew God wanted me to understand The first being the blood, which meant sanctified or (set apart), the second was the water, which meant justified or free from sin (cleansed).
Even in death, my Lord and Savior left me with the promise that if I believed in Him, I would be saved to eternal life.
